Ep. 65: Kevin Inherits the Podcast
Monday Mar 02, 2020
Monday Mar 02, 2020
CAVEAT: Yes, we have a new mic (thank you patrons) and yes it is VERY good, but we don't quite know how to use it yet, evidently. It functions differently than our other mics, so Em doesn't actually sound as CRISP as we would have wanted, but we are working on it, and next time we'll have it down. MOVING ON. This ep we have our awesome friend Kevin on as a guest! Taylor tells the story of a man named Mauro who survives being lost in the Sahara desert, and Emily tells us the harrowing story of people who survived attacks by the goddamn Zodiac Killer. It's long and it's fun, we hope you like it!

Ep. 64: The Vibes Have Shifted
Monday Feb 17, 2020
Monday Feb 17, 2020
IT'S A NEW EPISODE, Y'ALL. Episode 64 --just 5 eps away from Episode 69, which we are so incredibly excited about. We're even more excited after this episode, because this ep 1) Ruled, and 2) helped us decide how we will celebrate the 3rd anniversary of the podcast, and our nastiest ep ever. As it is Black History Month, Emily tells the story of the young black woman who pre-dated Rosa Parks in being a badass, and Taylor tells the story of a woman named Maria who survived the totally heinous Vampire of Dusseldorf. Enjoy!

Ep. 63: Drink Zombie and Stare at Your Fears
Monday Feb 03, 2020
Monday Feb 03, 2020
Hello! On this episode, Emily brought over a Zombie beverage that would have ruined our night, except that the stories did that for us just fine. Taylor tells the stories of 3 survivors of the Indian Ocean Tsunami of 2004, and Emily brings us our youngest-ever survivor at sea-- with a crazy true-crime twist. Hope you enjoy!

Ep. 62: Are You Feeling Uncomfortable Now, Mr. Krabs?
Tuesday Jan 21, 2020
Tuesday Jan 21, 2020
Happy New Year...almost a month in. In this, the year of our Lord Baby Yoda 2020, we begin by being roughly the same as we always are--sad and a little bit drunk. Emily brings us a story of a woman who survived the Balkan Crisis in the 1990s, and Taylor tells us about Laura Black, a woman who survived an extreme case of stalking.

Ep. 61: This One Was Our Bitch
Monday Dec 23, 2019
Monday Dec 23, 2019
Well, tequila had a hand in this one, folks. Forgive us our sins and stutters. But it's a fun one, for sure! Taylor tells the story of the Lynyrd Skynyrd plane crash of 1977, and Emily gives us the details on a couple of weird attempted break-ins, and the women who pummeled their way to safety.

Ep. 60: Hard Jacka'n It
Monday Dec 09, 2019
Monday Dec 09, 2019
Well, we're still on our bullshit, folks. Taylor and Emily are still alternating types of stories, as well as choices in drink. Emily: a classy lady with a raspberry ale and a story about a WWI hero with a fabulous name...and Taylor: a woman of grosser tastes, drinking Hamms and talking about Kari Swenson, a survivor who's way cooler than her. Or you. Or anyone.

Ep. 59: Look, Most of America is Weird
Monday Nov 25, 2019
Monday Nov 25, 2019
Hello! Emily and Taylor are back with another episode...and we've mixed-and-matched again. Taylor tells a brand new story of a woman who survived a tornado in Texas, and Emily tells a story of a girl kept prisoner and abused in her parent's home...right in our own back yard.

Monday Nov 11, 2019
We've got a new look and a new lease on life over here at Uh-Oh headquarters! (That first part is true, at least.) This week, Emily plays a game of 2 Truths and 1 Lie with 3 short but very strange survival stories! Then, Taylor tells the bizarre, recent, story of the kidnapping of Denise Huskins. Enjoy, you horny chickens.

Monday Oct 28, 2019
Monday Oct 28, 2019
Happy (almost) Halloween, listeners! This cursed pod episode is EXTRA. Extra spooky, and extra long. We are joined by our friend Kat, as we talk spooky stories and conspiracies. Taylor tells the story of Latoya Ammons and the 200 Demon House--while managing to invoke the name of a demon in Emily's apartment. Then, Emily tells us the story of the Romanoffs, including the very difficult death of Rasputin, and the conspiracy surrounding princess Anastasia.

Ep. 56: Crying is a Free Action
Monday Oct 14, 2019
Monday Oct 14, 2019
We had a great time recording this one, y'all! And we promise we only talk about D&D for like a minute. This episode, Emily takes a break from locking our friends in a garage to tell us the amazing, frustrating story of Henrietta Lacks, while Taylor attempts to talk nuclear science and the survivors of the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant Explosion.
